BB code to bring in database data
 
Ok, so bear with me.

Basically I want my users to be able to specify a movie title inside a BB code and that then return a table of info on that movie.

I've already got a source for the info that returns either XML or JSON, I just don't know how to
a) bring it back to the post
b) format it into a table

Really the ultimate goal is to get something like a cut down version of this v4 mod working: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=234432

Any help or pointers would be very much appreciated!
