Meta tag problem with all posts before upgrade

welcome everybody
There is a general problem in version vb5. All the topics added before the upgrade take the meta description of the section "Channel is currently" causing thousands of mistakes in the webmasters and lead to descriptions of meta-duplicate of thousands of topics.

But today I have found a topic with the same problem since 2016
here : https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...ta-description

This is a huge flaw in vb5 for anyone who has upgraded

I hope to help solve this problem

Because in this case I will return to the vb4 version

Every time I find a way to work around one of the many absurd flaws in VB5 I come across another. There should be a simple means to import descriptions as defined in VB4, or to update descriptions following an import.

After all of these years, VB5 still feels like a beta release.

Unfortunately, the support team sees this as a secondary problem and not an important one.
It 's a big flaw in vB5 but there' s no fix for these flaws or working to fix them.

The consistent theme / excuse seems to bes that if people wanted vBulletin to fix its myriad defects, more people would demand fixes. The ugly truth seems to be that most people have given up on the idea that they will ever migrate to VB5.

It is interesting to look at the sites they feature on the front page as being built on vBulletin, as many have migrated to other software.

I fully agree with you in this
Why vBulletin does not solve the problems and defects vB5 offered by customers or demanding a solution.
The success of any company starts from here and the failure of any company begins by neglecting the problems of customers and considered not important even if repeated a lot.

I hope that developers will start solving vB5 major problems and then look at the new features additions afterwards.

Because I am one of the people that will not solve problems 5 I will switch to another product.

I hope that this talk will reach the company officials.
