Lost Password Recovery Form - message

Hi! Does any one has a better way to inform user when he uses the "Lost Password Recovery Form".

He must read quick this:
"Your username and details about how to reset your password have been sent to you by email. You will now be returned to where you were.."

Many users have problem and they do not realize that they must see there email.
If email send by forum is in spam folder you understand they do not get it at all.
Some off them do not read at the beginning to.

Is there a way to have a pop up message when he reads the above message
an as I see he is in /login.php?do=emailpassword

Thanks for any help

Have you considered editing the phrase "forgotten_password_request_email"?

You could add additional instructions on checking the spam folder if the email does not appear in their inbox, etc. You could even make that in bold red to stand out, by wrapping this text in the following tags:

HTML Code:

<span style="font-weight: bold; color: #ff0000;">...</span>

Thanks Mark for answering, yes I have it in bold.
Many users do not read this because it is only 1-2 seconds :)

The phrase I reference is what displays on the form, so it is there as long as the form where they enter their email addy is shown.

Are you wanting a browser popup that must be clicked (confirmed) when they submit their email addy?

Oh yes, the problem is not that. It is
when users uses the "Lost Password Recovery Form".

He must read quick this:
"Your username and details about how to reset your password have been sent to you by email. You will now be returned to where you were.."

I do not know if the above text or else text can be shown until user finish all progress.
How it is to your forum? :)

Yes, those redirect messages are fleeting and some users ignore them. My best advice is to make that information (and whatever other information you desire) available on the form itself.

All is ok in other places(I have more info), they just do not realize that they done and finished. They over over again. Some users send me email to delete them because they waist there time.

I waist my time to serve them, lol
