Is there a way to improve seo search results in the tags.php page
welcome everybody
my question is as the title I want a way to improve seo search results in the tags.php page in vBulletin 4 Best Regards |
I disabled tags on my site due to negative seo impact. If you really want to stick with it I would suggest removing generic tags and only allow admins to add relevant tags. I still think the tags page should either be blocked from being crawled or removed completely.

Sorry, I'm a bonehead. I didn't ask the right question.
Is there a place people using the forum will see that there is a tags page if the tags are completely turned off? I mean, tags.php I get a "permission denied" page if I go directly there, but I am wondering if there is a "tags" link or somesuch that needs to be removed. |

Yes, as Brandon said..use robots.txt Disallow: /tags.php
You can disable the tags feature by going into your settings /tagging options. |
Tags is an outdated function since Google now considers tags as "keyword stuffing."
