VB4 end of Life
 

I read in a thread that vb 4.25 will be the last version of the 4 series.
Does anyone know whether it will have security updates and for how long?
Or have they not announced its end of life schedule?
This is important to me so I can make plans for my site :D

Yes it will, until further notice.

I hope so cause I will never use version 5.

Ya me too, hope they will provide security patches at least, no roadmap,
wish there was.

Even if they don't provide security patches, I'm sure someone will release unofficial patches.

Just to clarify;

There will still be security patches for vB4 where appropriate.
There is no roadmap, because development for vB4 has ended completely now, except for the above.
All future development will be on vB5.

good to know I can still use it for a while then, because I like it don't want to switch
until I absolutely have to.
