Generated Source shows version number
Hi all,
This is probably nothing but I removed what version number of VB I run on my forum and I was having a play with a new plugin on Firefox (web developer) and it has a feature called 'view generated source'. It brings up a new window and in it displays info such as VB version, meta keywords and site description and also the security token. Is there anything out of the ordinary? Can you select to not show the version number? Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> I noticed all of the above is referenced in the headerinclude template...I presume it's needed for a reason? |
Thats all perfectly normal and part of vbulletin, always has been.
