Can soemone help me resize the avatare that show when posting

Are you trying to reduce their size or increase their size? Reducing their size won't be an issue, but increasing their size can lead to pixelation.

Can you give a link to a page on your site where you wish to resize avatars?

Try adding the following CSS class selector to your "additional.css" template:
