I'm a super moderator on the mtgnews.com forums at forums.mtgnews.com
We have a problem with users spamming to up their post count and user titles. We've been giving users "warnings" when they spam or flame someone, and after a certain number of warnings they are suspended or banned (manually). Is there any way moderators could be allowed to reduce a user's visible post count by a certain percentage? For instance, one someone spams, could we reduce the post count by 5% to make them pay attention. I suppose this is a request if it can't already be done. Our administrator is very busy though, and I'm doing this to see if I could save him time. Because I don't actually own the forums, that's why I can't post this in the request forum. |
You can easily do this in the control panel. Find the user - then change his post count to whatever you want.
