Rebuild User Post Count

I have a situation where several of my users have had their posts/threads removed from the database.

The threads and post have been re introduced from a previous back up and are showing up on the Forum.

However when using the search facility, the threads are showing within the users' profile however a search via user profile will not show any of the individual posts.

Can anyone give me some tips (turn off cms/plugins?) of how to get these posts to appear in my (handful) of users' profiles that they are missing.

I have approaching 2m posts on the database.

Regards

Steve

Not, Rebuild Search index > Posts? - The users threads are there (latest started threads), just not the posts (Find latest posts)

I have approaching 2m posts, the default of 2k at a time, seems rather sedate. Will I need to shut the board to run this update and/or increase the default number?

Regards,

Steve

The "Rebuild Thread Information" option rebuilds post info too.

No need to shut down your board to run. You can increase the 2k number, as long as you're on a decent dedicated server. I've seen it complete 2K in under 10 seconds on my dedicated server. I don't have a board with close to the number of posts you have, but if your board is busy, 2K should be fine and if it's on a decent server I'd think the entire process would complete in around 3-4 hours. Again a lot has to do with how busy your site is and how fast your server is.
