Largest threads in forums unviewable by admins/mods
 

this is a weird problem, i have a large forum, with Big threads, the problem is that i have just a few threads that time out but only for admins and moderators, if i log in with a normal user account i can see the threads with no issue, but as admin or moderator, it just times out.

the threads that are problems are also the heaviest in there parent forum, for instance, 1 thread has 9000 replies with over 4,000,000 views.
i can view the next bigest thread, so i dont understand why as an admin or moderator i have issues.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Does it also happen with all of your plugins disabled?
If not, it might be a plugin that's causing the extra load for staff members only.

I have threads on my forum with over 10.000 replies and it works just fine.

not tried it with the plugins off, its such a pain in the ass turning them off
ill have to turn of the forum and try it

Most likely you have a large number of users in the Global Ignore (Coventry) option.

Clear them out (or at least cut them down).

Just checked that, i have no users in there
