Rep has gone missing after [DBTech] Advanced Post Thanks Like v3.6.1 [Lite]
 

I recently installed [DBTech] Advanced Post Thanks Like v3.6.1 [Lite] but did not like the way it forced the separation between post and like without going 'pro.'

Upon removal I have been unable to reinstate rep in its natural form and cannot for the life of me get it to display in the postbit. I just have a little sheriff badge at the bottom.

How can I regain my +- sign and display rep again in the postbit/postbit legacy?

I searched for literally hours and could not find a 'default' postbit. IF that's even the problem. I have no other plugins installed and the issue occurs on both the custom theme and the original theme.

I'm on version 4.2.3

I can't recall ever seeing a ± sign anywhere, all I've ever seen is the"star badge" icon that leads to a popup allowing you to give positive or negative rep.

Interesting, I may be confusing that with another software I guess?

However, I know rep should be able to be displayed in the postbit and that simply will not work any longer. I'm considering upgrading to vb5 just as a 'refresh' without losing my users and hoping development kicks off for plugins

I certainly appreciate the offer but now i'm having problems with my wsiwyg editor where I can't use the space bar. I think im going to just try for a vb5 upgrade.

I might be able to fix that as well, but it's of course ultimately up to you. However, I wouldn't recommend upgrading for those reasons alone. :)

You should think very carefully about doing that.
Its not the same as going from one vb4 version to another (or even vB3 to vB4).
vB5 is massively different, and you will lose ALL customisations (products, plugins, styles etc).

A bit like amputating the leg after a bee stung you into the big toe.
