High load time to insert New Reply or New Thread
 

Hi, I have a site running Vbulletin 3.8.4 and some mods installed (vBSEO 3.6.0, vbStopForumSpam, Ban Spider by UserAgent and some others).

i have a problem with load times when you insert a New Reply in a post or just open a New Thread. It can takes 15-20 seconds to publish (window just stay loading when you click in the button to publish the post).

This problem is not permanent. Sometimes when you publish a post it loads fine, and just in 1or 2 seconds the post is published. But other times, it takes too much time.

I have AJAX disabled.

Any idea why is happening this? Maybe a database issue? Any help is welcome.

(pd: forum has 30.769 users, +52K threads and +635K posts)

Most likely one of your mods.

As a wild guess, does one send of them the post to some sort of external anti spam service, if so, thats probably waiting for a response, not getting one, and then timing out.

Look in your server error logs.
