yeah, I wanna have the same getup as here on vbulletin.org with the "no avatar selected" image showing if the user doesn't have an avatar, and if they do it shows their avatar?

can someone write this up for me? I don't mind helping with some smaller graphics or whatever in exchange (if you don't wish to publicly release your code that is)

no, im just talking the main page system like here on vb.org
where it shows an "default" image in place if a user has not slected an avatar, or shows the users avatar if they have.
