Hacked 5.2.5
 

So my forum got hacked this weekend, after I installed some mods from this forum, its new and I'm just building it so its not the end of the world, my question...is there a way to save the content I created, I only had a few channels and forums setup but if I can save those somehow, I don't care about reinstalling Vbulletin it sucks oh well but I had made some good articles. I was going to just delete everything from the file manager and reinstall but wanted to know if I could save my setup somehow, do I also need to create a new database or can I use the old one. my webhost said /index.php was the script that was sending mass emails, if I look on google there is a link to my site but it is selling RX drugs lol. I know the user name of who did it THOMTURA I saw them sign up when i was working on the site and I was like that's strange only had the site up like 3 days. anyway thanks for any advice/help

Hacked or spammed.?

at this point i think i was spammed, but i reinstalled VB and reconnected my database, before that i changed all pw's setup diff username and password for Database. im watching my site and im getting hammered with bots i think, so im reading up on measures i can take now.

Are you using Recaptcha 2?
