Where to edit "attachment insert" code?
 

I'm wondering how I would go about deleting this insert function. I want to allow people to upload image attachments, just not insert thumbnails of the image into the post. So, where would I go to edit the code and disable this feature?

You can hide that block via CSS.

Yes I know, but where specifically do I go to edit the CSS (> Edit Templates, etc.)?

Go to Sitebuilder (Edit Site ON) > Style > CSS Editor.

You can also go to Style Manager in AdminCP and edit the css_additional.css template (this is not allowed in vBCloud)

Beware: The img-bbcode will still be functional if simply typed in manually. This just hides the button.

That's true for external images. But for uploaded images, [attach][/attach] tags are used and users wouldn't know what should go inside the tags to insert the image inline manually. Sample [attach] tag:
