Spammed from vietnam
 

Hi all is there an easy way to ban spammers from vietnam.They are now even registering using gmail addresses.

I could block the country in my csf firewall in whm but i have been told because i am on a vps this is not recommended.

Is there a simple way like a httaccess code.I could use ip deny manger but that would take me forever

I've got a problem with a Vietnam (among others) so I used the country moderation mod to add all users registering from that country to need manual approval for registration.

You need to make this edit to swap the mod from an allowed counties only list to a disallowed countries list.

If you want to use htaccess file to block visitors from specific countries

With this way, you don't need to use an addon on your forum.

I also use a mod to do the same sort of thing, it allows UK & Ireland registrations, it also blocks certain countries (like China). The rest just get moderated.
