I'm not even sure what this problem is called:(
 
As you can see by the username and then the title in the thread...it's been going on since I got the board.

What is this problem called?
What is the fix for the title ?

Thanks in advance for any help I will have my web tech fix it I just need the how to Directions for him!

Does this problem also happens with all plugins disabled and on the default theme?
Does it look like this in the database as well or is only the output in threads being shown like this?

More than likely its an unclosed html tag or issue with a notice.

Check your database using search in phpmyadmin for ^##& to find out exactly where its at. *Alternatively you can check your notices real quick for it as well.

Thank you for the replies so far my web into what you gentlemen are posting.

Here is an example I just banned and an individual and put some words in "quotation" which seems to be the problem too.

Is the "auto thread" created by a vBulletin product? If so, it appears the text needs to be run through the PHP html_entity_decode() function before being written to the db.

Took your suggestion and fixed my screenshot size :)
