I know I need to update to the new version but my board has been running flawlessly until today. (I was always taught don't fix it if it ain't broke).

I receive the following error on execution of the newnews.pl

I have shut down my board to upgrade tonight. I did a search through google where there was a thought that the Autoformat.pm file miight not be the current one. I will try to upgrade that as well. Will kee you posted.

If anyone does have any ideas other than this, please share them.

upgraded to the same error. CPAN says that my Text::Autoformat is current.

Any ideas?

What's newnews.pl? :confused:

newnews.pl is the file that imports the newsgroup posts. I believe it imports, it may also be the export. I have been in contact with the author of Text::Autoformat module and he has offered to help find the bug. I, however, need to be able to track down the character that is causing this.

Any help in troubleshooting would be appreciated. Contact me if you can help.
