Latest forum info storage location
 
Looking at migrating my forum to a new server but unsure of where the currentinfo like posts members info is stored, Is it in the server files or on the SQL database? need to know which one needs to be the most up to date copies

Well the database is stored in a file on the server. (Probably in /var/lib/mysql)
I recommend mysqldump to dump the database to a .sql file which you can then import using mysql.
