Setting up VPS server
Hi,
I'm trying to set up a VPS server that I have signed up for so I can migrate my forum over. Is there any guides on how to do this anywhere? Or am I in well over my head with this? |
A VPS server with nothing installed on it? If you don't have any experience with Linux then you're going to have a hard time configuring everything.
For CentOS 7: https://www.unixmen.com/install-lemp...-php-centos-7/ |
Ok thanks for the reply Dave, in other words I should leave it too the professionals?

If you want a secure environment that's properly setup then yes, I would leave it up to someone with more experience.

I use Centos Web Panel on all the VPS I install.

I would suggest getting a vps with everything set up already or even a managed vps.
Not only will everything have to be installed and set up and tweaked it will also all have to be maintained and updated. |
