There used to be a modification for this. Looks like it's in the Graveyard.

You might want to check with OzzModz.com as he was the author of one of these.

It may still be available on his site.

Thanks Michael for the advice but there is no mod as I saw there. :)

No Kevin, as I say above the button "Closed" is clickable, I want this to stop been clickable. Thanks to bother :)

Why do you want a none clickable button ? Seems a bit pointless.

The point seems to be to change the button from a button into some sort of marker. ;)

But I also wonder if people really click that button at all - what would they expect to happen? One of those things I would not bother to waste my time with :)

I have always one tab and watch connected on line users, every time for some reasons many new users try to answer at closed threads, so i see the error that they get. I do not know why they don't try to open a new thread. I have explanations what they must do. I think they prefer to answer in a thread that correspond to there needs rather to open a new one, some users are "afraid" to proceed or what else.
So i only want to delete the url that makes that button clickable.

Thanks for your answers :)

Could you just use a prefix then?

I use prefixes in other parts , i prefer not to involve these button in to them.
Prefixes will don't show up at the same point where is closed thread button shows up. Thanks
