Inserting Video - v4.23
Hi,
I'm still pretty new to Vbulletin, so please understand if this is a stupid question. I inserted a video into a message (using the insert video button) and the video shows up, but with a line of HTML code above the video. <a href="https://youtu.be/RX7UNpWqTpg" target="_blank"> This is the url I inserted into the video clip box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DRX7UNpWqTpg And this is the resulting code that was generated by Vbulletin: <a href=3D"https://youtu.be/RX7UNpWqTpg" target=3D"_blank"></a>[video=3Dyou= tube;RX7UNpWqTpg]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DRX7UNpWqTpg[/video<https= ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DRX7UNpWqTpg%5b/video>] How do I fix this? Thank you. |
it works perfectly fine on my site. Do you have any plugins or custom BBCode which do any video handling?
|
No plug-ins that I know of.
What's custom BBCode? |
Is that a real video because it is down now..
|
It's working.
Here's a link to the video in the message. You can see the HTML code above the video. http://www.triadspeakersforum.com/sh...th-Walkthrough |
This happens every time you post a video?
|
I just fixed it somehow. I think it had to do with line breaks. I added the video right after a line of text and that seemed to do the trick!
Thanks. |

I think what happened is the video got highlighted in editor and then linked.. That was why I was wondering if it was happening to all videos or just the one. lol Something new every day bro! :D |
Thanks guys.
