Shifting FORUMHOME (alone) over to the left?

Does anybody know if there's a way to shift just specifically the FORUHOME bodywrapper to the left? I've tried every single CSS trick I can think of, and have had no luck. The problem is, I'm trying to compensate for the added width of a sidebar and center the main page (the one showing all categories), but do so without also shifting over all bodywraps, if that makes sense?

In other words, I need to shift the body wrapper over on the main page, but have it reset to a default center when viewing a thread.

Any ideas?

Can you show a screenshot or a design which you wanted to move your FORUMHOME to the left?

So it will be easier to solve your problem as needing.

Of course!

The problem is, modifying the .body_wrapper element of the css moves it over, but it does it on every page. I'm basically looking to compensate for the sidebar on the main page, but continue having that main block centered on everything else.

If you wish to apply CSS only to the index page, then create a plugin hooked at "parse_templates" with PHP Plugin Code something like:

PHP Code:

if (THIS_SCRIPT === 'index')
{

$template_hook['headinclude_css'] .= '<style></style>';

Put your actual CSS between the <style> tags. :)

I can't believe that actually worked. Mark, you're an absolute genius. Thank you.

Edit: I had to go and like a few different people's posts before being able to like yours again, haha. Seems you're often coming to my rescue.

Glad to help, and thank you for making the extra effort to like my post too. :D
