Latest version available: 3.8.9

It says Latest version available: 3.8.9 at the top of our CP and our version is 3.8.4 patch2.

When I go into the vBulletin members area, the highest version I can find is 3.8.5

What gives?

vB3 licences are (were) not unlimited, they have an expiry date.
You can only download the versions that were available up to the point of the expiry date.

Ah,ok, so I can re-up and get that version if needed? Sounds good.

Mainly considering it because I may need to upgrade php to 5.3.10

I am always leery of updating stuff like the php andMySql to later versions...if the site is functioning properly, updating that can't make it any better, but it could cause hiccups and work.

Will 3.8.9 work ok with php 5.3.10 ? A Google search seemed to turn up comments that it is ok...

Upgrade to 5.3.10 ?
Thats a really old version of PHP in itself.

There is an upgrade option on vB3 licences (to vB4) which gives you unlimited access to any vB3 or vB4 version, now and in the future (PHP 7 compatible versions are being worked on atm).

Old? I'm still running Windows 95 and rocking the Pentium 166.
