I don't know why you want to set forum.php as default home page. For me, I removed it and using index.php instead.

Even I hope vB team can change forum.php to index.php in next vB 4 version updates

There is no forum.php page in vB5, so I don't understand what you are trying to do.

That isnt going to happen, and all you have managed to do is break part of the the Navigation Manager functionality.

Example:
vbulletin.ouronlineserver.com/forum/families-chat-help-desk
to vbulletin.ouronlineserver.com/families-chat-help-desk
i want to remove only the forum in url for overallsite.

The short answer is you cannot.
There is no built in method to either change the path, or remove it.

You could in theory start manually editing the router regex and hope that works, but most likely, you will just break something.
