Email send problem

I can not send mail from the administrator panel anybody.
Maintenance/Diagnostics/email I get e mail with the following message

vBulletin Email Test (With -f Parameter)
You are receiving this email because your email address was entered as an email test at Test Forum.

The first step of this email test script has been completed. However, a formatting test is still necessary:

A paragraph break.
A single line break.

Another paragraph break.
Another single line break.
Another single line break.

If the above lines look correct, you are finished. The email features on your server are setup correctly.
If this email is run together on one line, there is possibly a configuration error with your mail server. Please ensure it is configured correctly.

Important. I use 4.2.3 vbulletin.
For version 4.1.6 I send slave mail. No problem if you send.

Please help.

And what does it say on the admincp/index.php page for "Number of Queued E-Mails"?

Milance 05-25-2016 02:55 AM

Number of Queued E-Mails 21

Lynne 05-25-2016 06:30 PM

Then that means there are 21 emails waiting to be sent out. Perhaps that is where your emails are stuck.

Milance 05-25-2016 07:37 PM

I do not understand. Why wait?

Lynne 05-25-2016 07:40 PM

You have the cron based email turned on and so the emails are only sent when the scheduled task runs which is every 10 minutes. And, if you left the batch size to send out at one time at the default of 10, then it will take at least 20 minutes for all those emails to get sent out.

Milance 05-28-2016 07:00 AM

Why do not you send anyway?

kerrghann 05-28-2016 04:19 PM

They won't send because the Cron is set to send 10 of them every ten minutes. Are you asking how to send them anyway? You'd have to adjust your Cron

If you want to process all emails now, go to admincp->scheduled tasks and look for the Cron that says Process E-Mail Queue and click "Run Now" on that task.
