Top Thread Starters Per Forum

1 Attachment(s)
Overview:

This product will allow you to display a collapsible block containing a ranked list of thread starters in the forums you set as active. The block header displays how many users have started thread in each forum, and then displays those users sorted in descending order by the number of threads they have started in that forum. In the event of a tie, those users are then sorted in ascending order by userid. You can choose to display this block directly below the breadcrumb, immediately above/below the thread list, or directly above the footer. You can then choose whether to have the block appear on the left, in the center, or on the right.

Yeah, I think stretching it all the way across the page (especially for large monitors) wouldn't look good, given the small number of columns. :)

Very clever idea, nice and usable.

Four questions:
1) "Default/Minimum Rows", to show 1 user i must put "2"
If i put "1" it shows only the descriptions Rank, User Name, etc.
As i see it has to do with rows...

2) Maybe if there is an option to hide for Guests (option for usergroups)
3) Maybe an option to select collapse or expand as default.
4) Maybe an option "How many Top Users to show"

 Thank you for your goodies.

1.) The number of rows refers to the number of table rows, not users.

2.) Why hide it from anyone?

3.) Generally, collapsible blocks are expanded by default, and then the user can decide from there.

4.) I initially had it set that way, but people wanted an option to see more if they wanted, so I decided to return all the thread starters, and then viewers can see everyone. :)
