Site looks good but I would suggest to move top banner on your forum to a proper place so your forum header will look better and more professional.

Top forum banner is too big and its braking your forum theme.

Yes.

Does anybody knows is the vbulletin 5 good, better than 4?

many people finland says that vbulletin 5 is bad, and there are many bugs.

In its current state, vBulletin 5 is still very limited compared to vBulletin 4.
If you make use of a lot of plugins on your current forum, don't expect to find the same plugins for vBulletin 5 for a long time.

I always suggest vB4 before vB5 to clients.

I would definitely consider a new Style and better ad placement though. Traffic looks good though, congrats

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Yours ain't broke.

Depends. Ad placement (when done correctly) is more than just "move this here it looks better".

A series of A & B testing can drastically increase revenue for any site, yet alone forum. If you run an experiment and A & B test to see what locations convert better in terms of ads for you, you'll find that a little bit of work can go a long way. I've had clients sell their forums to other investors who were able to have their tech team come in and simply A & B test their google ads and triple monthly revenue.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" doesn't mean "If it can be better, don't make it better". There's always room for improvement.

If you were talking about vB4 to vB5 though, definitely I agree 100% he should stay on vB4. Aside from it being a better platform in my experience, the learning curve for members isn't the best. vB4 is just a lot more stable and extendible in my opinion.

I was.

He doesn't have any problems with his advert placement if they're generating revenue. I wouldn't know about his actual ad placement though, I haven't seen a advert anywhere online since at least 2005. His traffic and activity tells me he has no problem with the style or the header, or anything else. Why upset the apple cart when it is working splendidly?

The problem with your allegory is, the definition of "better" is almost always massively subjective. I didn't say anything about making it better.

Word! Not a fan of vB5 myself, at all. Only touch it when obligated (client stuff).

I was just talking about ad placement more than anything. I just figured, if some A & B testing could make him more money, then even better. Companies pay big bucks for these kinds of trials. Not sure more money is subjective for any of us ;)

I admin a big big board where contracts with the advert providers give them control of the placement.
