Change Prefix With Ajax

1 Attachment(s)
DESCRIPTION
This Mod allows changing the prefix of a thread using AJAX, without reloading the site, just by double-clicking the prefix.
It is a port of this Mod from vBulletin 3.x.

INSTALLATION
  1. Upload the files from upload folder.
  2. Import the Product XML file.
  3. Activate the Mod in AdminCP, under vBulletin Settings -> Change Thread Prefixes with AJAX.

VERSION HISTORY
  • 2.1.0 (01/03/2016)
    • No template edits required anymore! You should revert them, if you already applied them. Thanks to [name]MarkFL[/name] for giving me the idea for this optimization.
    • Minified the JS code. You'll have to upload at least the clientscript folder again.
  • 2.0.0 (28/02/2016)
    • First public release for vBulletin 4.x.

I like idea, but would prefer that install instructions are included with downloaded file, as there are two template edits. I added them for myself manually, but it would make it easier for all of us.

Ok, I've updated the ZIP file.

I've removed the need to edit templates.

Very helpful little mod, using on a test setup just now and noticed it replaces the Clickable Prefix mod by Lynne and was wondering if there is a way to have them able to coexist?

Thanks.

This mod by Lynne seems to turn the prefixes into links. When you double-click a link, you will trigger it. I don't know how to avoid this and still keep the link clickable.
VBulletin has the same problem. You can double-click a thread title to rename the thread. But if you hit the link while double-clicking, the thread will be loaded.
