XML Sitemap files being removed within a day? (auto)
 

For some reason whenever I create (rebuild) my sitemaps, the files are being removed within a day without any reason. I was under the impression that vB does not remove those files, at all.

- Automatic Sitemap Generation Frequency (Days) (14 days)
- Sitemap File Path (./store_sitemap), - Which works perfectly with manual builds.

Don't think the rest of the options really matter. I just find it odd that the files are being removed within a day (to a few hours).

Am not using any other XML / Site map plugin, just vB's default.

I cannot think of anything Vbulletin would do to delete your sitemaps. I use Vbseo for sitemaps though on most client sites. I never had issues with the default version though.

Check your server logs.
