What about editing forum permissions to deny users access to forums?

Hi MarkFL

I saw a plugin made by arabic co which thru the member profile you can ban him from accessing a specific thread by entering the thread number, or ban him from accessing a forum by selecting the forum name from the list

I dont think it can be done in forum permission, because that will affect all members

Thanks for the reply

Yes, banning members from forums/threads on an individual basis would require custom coding.

Here is a vB 3.8.x product for banning users from threads:

Ban Users from a Thread

In the AdminCP you can deny access to particular users to forums by editing their access masks, which you can access from the profile within the AdminCP.

<a href="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=128160" target="_blank">Zoints Forumban</a> will allow you ban a member from a single forum.
