Clearing a specific Usergoup
Ok, so I know this can be done, as a tech on a different website than the one I help run now did it, but they won't respond to me lol.
So anyways, here is what I want to do: We habe users in usergroups. For this example, let's call them UG #'s 12, 13 and 14. We need to clear those usergroups, without deleting them. Is there an sql query that anyone uses to conduct a mass function such as this to where you can insert usergroup numbers to execute the dump? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help I can pass along to our websites current tech would be greatly appreciated. |
You want to delete all users from a usergroup?
|
That is correct, but without deleting the usergroup itself
|
That's a vB function.
AdminCP -> Users -> Prune / Move Users Then set the criteria and on the next page you'll be able to delete or move them to another usergroup. |
