I have a question

How a thread is considered as a new post/thread?

and How long does it take for a new post/thread that considered as "New"?

Is this the place to increase/decrease time for a new post?

Admincp ->Options -> General Settings

Quote:

Thread/Forum Read Marking Type
This option controls how threads and forums are marked as read.

Click the help icon on the right for more information on each option.
Inactivity/Cookie Based
Database (no automatic forum marking)
Database (automatic forum marking)

Database Read Marking Limit
The amount of time in days to store the thread and forum read times. All threads or forums without posts in this many days will be considered read.

I searched answers for this question but seem it has not got on vBulletin community yet.
