New bot from China
 

I have noticed a new bot from China viewing my forum.

When i view whosonline this is what i see ptr.cnsat.com.cn and they are from China.I have the bot plugin installed but that does not work with this bot.

Here are a couple of ip's 202.46.56.192,202.46.58.122,202.46.52.18 actually there are loads of these viewing my forum.

Can i add anything to my htaccess file to prevent these from viewing

I already have that amzing plugin installed and works like a charm in banning the other bots like baidu but for some reason i cant seem to get rid of this one

What is the full host for that bot also best to direct them back to their own IP

Not sure how to do that buddy.The only info i can come up with is this http://www.reputationauthority.org/l...p=202.46.56.44


Can you check this page out.If i choose china and put the code in my htaccess will it work.

once they are back go to online users and check their host from there and to send them to their own ip you will see its an option in the screenshot you posted above

Ok they are online.

so this is what i can see once i click the ip address.

ptr.cnsat.com.cn
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2

So basically i put this in the bot list ptr.cnsat.com.cn which i already did days ago but are you now saying i had the wrong box ticked. Instead of ticking Redirect Url i tick this box instead Redirect to spiders own ip?

If i do that will it work

The "Spider List" option in the AdminCP only checks for the user agent, it doesn't resolve the IP address to a domain name. It wont work like that.

Anything using firefox 6 isn't going to be human. Put: Firefox/6 in your UA block list.

Also, you are going to see all the same stuff online in WoL no matter what you do, until the time expires you have set for this display.
