Convert IPB 4 to vB?
 

Hi, I am currently running an IPB 4.1.X community and i'd like to convert it over to vBulletin.

Is this possible, and if so -> How? :)

It certainly is possible from IPB, I don't know which version though... check out Impex.

I would have to know the version I am able to convert into if anything, then eventually run an upgrade to get it to the latest version.

As mentioned earlier I do run IPB 4.1.X today and if I were to be a customer with vB instead I need to know that my content, members, uploads, topics, posts and etc is to be converted successfully.

I would suggest setting up a tesy site and trying there first. The ipb3 impex version may work.

Impex isnt working with ipb 3.4.8 either, all posts after inport are littlered with <p> tags, and avatars are broken, along with no attachments.

Can we please get a Impex update.

Really need a source database to fix that problem. In addition the posts coming over with html is not uncommon. But still, need a source database.

Send me a PM with a link to download a copy of the DB and I'll see what I can do this weekend. But I can't make any promises.
