The base URL in your AdminCP settings is probably wrong.
It can't load the client files because of this.

I would also download a fresh copy of the pack and upload the files again as the one you have seems to have some errors and it looks like you got an incomplete download

You need to upload the contents of the upload folder not the folder itself.

Additionally, if you do put your files are in the /upload directory, you will need to change this line in your .htaccess file:

#RewriteBase /

to this line:

RewriteBase /upload/
