[SEARCH] Display 2 previous posts when new page in Showthread
 

well, I'm searching a mod to do this :

When you have more than X posts in a thread, and display the 2nd, 3rd ... page, I would like to see the 2 (or more) previous posts from the previous page.

Does a such mod exist ? I've searched but didn't find it !

Not to my knowledge, I don't think there is a mod that does that. So you would probably have to make it yourself if you can do that.

It shouldn't be too difficult to do ...

Strange that it doesn't already exist for vB, it's included in phpBB

Its just not one of those things that I guess they did not have a lot of people asking for therefore they did not think it was necessary. :)

I at least would find it most irritating if one or even two or more posts from a previous page would be repeated on the subsequent page. I really don't see how this would be beneficial to the reader.

So, when you click the link in new posts, and that it shows an entire new page, you don't remember the previous post, and so, has to get back to see it (or these)
