Prevent threads with certain words by certain usergroups from posting?
Is there any way to prevent certain usergroups from making threads that contain certain words? I want threads with these certain words to come to the admins for moderation first and then posted if they allow them to be posted.
For example: Certain words = bad boy If usergroup named "Senior Member" makes a thread with the word "bad boy" in it, the thread should not get posted and instead goes to admins for moderation and display some kind of a message to the users that the post has gone for moderation. If a usergroup named "VIP Member" makes a thread with the word "bod boy", it simply gets posted. Is there a way to do this? |
Yes, it would require one or more plugins though. I could likely do this (I don't want to promise just yet)...but I am assuming you are talking about posts rather than threads? Would you include post titles as well?

Not the posts. But there's no harm in putting that restriction on the posts as well. |
What is it about threads you are looking to monitor/restrict that lies outside of the posts making up the threads?
