Transferring forum to another server
 

hi guys, site has been helpful , thanks for all the info.

question:
is there a step by step process to transfer my vb4 from one server to the other?
the forum and database will have to be transferred to a new server.

both servers are hosted on the same provider and i have cpanel access to the existing site and new server.
i am the owner of the sites/servers, so access shouldn't be an issue.

any tips or steps to take would be greatly appreciated.

oh ya, i will take care of the dns stuff.

Ask your host to transfer everything over, they should do it free of charge.
