vbulletin-mods.com What's this?

Seems that someone found an easy way to make money stealing mods from here and there and sell them as paid memberships?

I ordered a one day membership and here is what I found as part of his private forums (see attached screenshot).

Is also interesting how IB allows him to use "vbulletin" as part of the domain name, something that is restricted some 4-5 years ago.

Last but not least. How is possible the owner of this site Black Snow still to be member here?

It's the same site that was vbulletin-mods.co.uk for a long time, they just got a new domain name.

Yes I just noticed the missing "s" in the domain name. The problem is that still has the same content and still has my mods there. Why nobody bans him?

Maybe the site owner thinks its ok to share them on his site as you can download them here if you are a customer

Seems that you didn't seen the screenshot. It's not only the Free mods. This is something usual. In the private forums it has almost all PRO versions from most coders available for free download. And a seperate key for Brand Free.

Under the "Show Your Support" section of every mod, it is stated:

This modification may not be copied, reproduced or published elsewhere without author's permission.

Personally, I would not mind my add-ons being published elsewhere, but only if I am asked first. But then my add-ons are like jingles compared to the symphonies that have been generously uploaded by others. :D

I can see a piracy report was already made and the VB piracy team is working on this. Be warned that taking down an illegal site requires cooperation of the host and depending where a site is located it may take a long time to see results. If the site is hosted in a country that does not respect copyright law there may be nothing that can be done. Whatever action is taken at this point will not be made public.

Yes I know all these, you're right. To be honest what's surprised me the most is that nobody (??) reported him to PayPal. As I said I've did a temporary (1 day) membership and I seen that his PayPal account is Verified:

Edited: Joe I forgot to say (maybe you already know it) that on the next page of the screenshot I seen all your PRO versions.
