Change desktop icon/bookmark
 

Anyone know where how how you change the desktop icon or bookmark icon for your site? For example if you create a shortcut or ass to favorites it's the logo it saves it under. Thank you

Sorry. I understand what favicon is and does. I mean the actual icon. See attached image. My site shows a piece of paper with my favi in the middle, MS shows the actual logo and vb shows the world lol.

A link would be better can't work from a picture as we don't know the location of it

For anyone else who would like to input info the question still stands. How do i get away from the piece of paper with the favicon in the middle?

I thought a link to a website that it was on not your computer but if you don't give all info its very hard to help like you don't give what OS you have or what you have tried so far. So is this what you have done, you opened your browser, dragged the bookmark to your desktop, then did you right click, go to properties in the web document tab clicked change icon or did you do it different from this

If you mean the shortcuts on your windows desktop just right click on it, click properties and then click customize.
