Single Click Submit Enforcement
 

This is a small mod designed to prevent double posts that occasionally occur when a user clicks the submit button more than once.

vBulletin does a good job preventing duplicates generally but once is a while the duplicates are submitted so fast the software can't stop them.

This will hide the submit button immediately after it is pressed the first time on new thread and advanced new reply pages. On showthread (quick reply) it will hide the button for 5 seconds, then it will reappear so the user can reply to another post without reloading the page.

Just install and it's active, there are no settings. Only tested on VB 3.8 and only with the default styles. If you have heavily customized styles some or all of it may not work.

Will not work on VB 4.x or 5.x.

Interesting- did you test it with a default style?

yes tested with a default style and a modified style but working only on post quick reply button (the button disappears for few seconds after adding a reply)

Can you bring it out on 4.2.3
