New threads not showing in Recent Threads widget

My site has been running Vbulletin for quite a while. There's a little problem with the Recent Threads widget. Most new threads will be reflected in the widget except new threads from a certain sub-forum.

This is the sub-forum that just doesn't show up in the Recent Threads widget -> http://www.soft.com.sg/forum/forumdi...usic-Kopi-tiam

My Recent Threads widget (Latest posts in forum) is on the bottom of the homepage -> http://www.soft.com.sg/

Appreciate if anyone have a solution to solve this.

Thanks!

You could go to vBulletin CMS > Widgets and configure the Recent Forum Posts widget, and make sure it's configured to include that forum. Also I think it works via search, so you could go to the Forum Manager and make sure Posting Options > Index New Posts in Search Engine is set to Yes for that forum.

Hi kh99

Thanks for your suggestion.

I tried but still didn't work.

I have asked the support at vbulletin.com but they can't figure it too. Anyone with such a problem before?

There's a setting to not have posts in a forum indexed for search. If you exclude a forum from search, it won't show up.

I have checked and every forum is set to "YES".

The mystery continues ....

Have you tried to remake the widget and delete the old one? Maybe it just has gone nuts for whatever reason. Sometimes that works. Also if you have recently changed the time frame for posts to show it can sometimes make it go nuts. I've had that happen before myself.

Another thing you might want to try is to clear the cache on your forum. To do that just go to Maintenance > Clear System Cache.
