Permission to view stickied posts only
 
I've got a bit of a strange problem.

I have a forum called "my forum".

In that forum is a sticky post that I want everyone to be able to read.

All other posts in the forum need to be viewable only by the user that made them and members of a specific usergroup but everyone should be able to see the post title.

Is there a way to do this with the standard VB permissions?

Thanks to some off forum help, I now use the announcements system to put a static message in each forum and then use the forum permissions system to stop others seeing posts that they haven't made themselves.

The only problem with this is that I want others to be able to see the thread title but not the content of the thread.

Is there a way to do this?
