Feedback needed for forum please!

I need another perspective on my forum.

Any feedback about the forum would be of immense help. Thankyou!

I like it but i'm not a fan of the puke green colour of the buttons. great work though!

A few things:

• Too many (24) topic areas for a new forum?if you cut it down so that each of your categories was a single forum, it would still be a lot, but better.
• The content boxes scrolling over the big background images... I find it distracting. I would prefer a solid color.
• I assume you put the word "Register" in red, so that it would get noticed...however, red on black is hard to see. Try putting it in yellow or white.
• Your header is cute, but huge... it takes up the top half of my screen. Make it much smaller so that people can see more of your content
• I'm not a big fan of having "housekeeping" topic sections at the top of the list. Put content first, housekeeping last.
• here's a radical idea... put the "New Forum Threads" and "New Forum Posts" in the wide column, and put the list of forums in the narrow one.

The background, when it goes from robot head into the dark tablet... on my 40" LCD running 1920 x 1080 it just makes my eyes go ACK! On the left side the contrast between the robots light colors versus the tablets dark color and the fact the right side of the tablet almost appears to be stabbing the side of the forum just throws me off... perhaps redo the background and make the tablet smaller? That's just my thoughts on it though take them or leave them :p.

Thankyou for the feedback! I posted this on a few other forums and nobody replied, I was beginning to wonder if it was a total failure.

Yeah your right about the background, header and buttons. I will have to work out what to do about redoing those but can't afford to make any changes at the moment as the traffic to the forum has been so low that I am beginning to think it may not be viable, despite actively promoting it across the majority of social media platforms.

Do you find the mobile style easy to use? I thought not having a responsive design may be what is causing the lack of interest.

Was your first reaction to the large faces was that they are a positive thing or did you just laugh at them. I am wondering if the styling of the banner and large faces is seen as too 'immature' and putting people off, but then I was trying to create an atmosphere that was unique to the niche, friendly but not too childish, something that is difficult to do with this subject.

The thing is I only found out after creating this forum that there is already a forum aimed at developers of the Nao robot who, after finding out about my forum, are now changing their forum to be more Pepper focused and so are competing me out of my niche in the process. I don't expect my forum to last much longer as I don't have the insider connections that the official forum does to keep peoples interest in new product developments.

To much space on the footer not sure what way you messed it up if you put the Connect With Us images below the copyright it might help. And the background image needs removed or changed its bad

Let's face it the product is bad, very little I can do to make it appealing.

I don't have any problems with vb I am using 4.2.3 and have no problems. With the versions you are running yes, there are some warnings coming up, but if you upgraded to 4.2.3 you will find it will fix them all

I am upgraded to 4.2.3. I didn't realize any warnings were coming up. Maybe that is why people are not using the forum. Where do you see these warnings?

When I said product being bad, I didn't mean the forum software, I was talking about the Pepper robot.
