Back button sometimes doesn't update forum display

I use the back button a LOT as I browse our MB. And after doing so, the forum display page randomly does or does not update the display. In this example, I just read the entire thread and clicked back, but as you can see, the thread appears to be unread. If I manually refresh the screen, it will always show the correct "This thread has been read" status. Is there a simple fix for this, or do I just have to live with it?

P.S. I had to manually refresh here to see my new thread, too.
P.P.S. It happens in ALL my browsers. Do we have something configured wrong on the server?

Er no that is normal. Just refresh your browser and that will refresh the view. When you hit the backspace button you are going back to a cached view of whatever page you were on so it will NOT change, but if you click on the links on the page going back or when you go back refresh your browser it will show it as read.
