Unread thread notifications
 

We have a team of staff and we make requests via threads in a forum.

Are there any plugins that will create notifications if a new thread is posted?

If not, I can code in PHP and will be able to make a plugin but my MySQL skills aren't fantastic and it would be great if somebody could point me in the right direction to which tables I should be querying to get unread thread counts.

There are settings in the admin control panel for each forum:

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Post
Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Thread

That will notify people that way.

You may also be able to use the forum subcription function to accomplish this.
