Thread displayed always in the first position

Hello guys,

There is a way that makes possible to leave a thread in the first position? I mean..for example I decide to post a open thread where I write some important information. If the other users write more threads, the one I wrote goes down (the threads are shown by date- first the new ones, later the old ones) and I want to avoid it. I want that my post is shown in the first position, and after the others.

Is it possible???

Thank you very much!!:)

You mean on other pages besides the first page?

It sounds like you're talking about the same thing as a 'sticky' thread. Have you tried using that feature?

Yeah re reading it it sounds like you want to make the thread a sticky thread as kh99 said. :)

Hello guys,

Unfortunately it was not what I meant. What I mean is: for example a create a Thread with the title "How to use Office" and then I write the content. After that, all the users can write something in the page where I wrote the content. Automatically, my post goes down, because the replies are more recent than my post. I want to avoid this JUST for some important contents that I write in some threads, not for every content. Is it possible?

For example in this thread, the posts are ordered by date..the new ones at the bottom. This is actually what I want..but not for every threads...just for some...

Thanks a lot

Ahh, no that is not possible, that is a global setting in the usercp, for which way to display the posts within a thread.
