Manuel subscription to all threads
 

Hey,

is there a way or addon where users themselves can select to be subscribed to all threads of a forum category or the entire forum?

or can the admin do this manually for a specific user?

If they click the Subscribe button in the forums, sure a user can subscribe to the forum.

yes, but then he/she only gets one combined email per day. is there an instant notification whenever there is a new thread/post in the forum?

I think if you set the Email Notifications to On in your usercp settings, it will do that.
