Daily Email Newsletters for Registered Users

We are looking for an add-on that will allow you to subscribe to the user group as a whole, and send all registered users a Daily Newsletter. The email will include summary information for all new posts, 'Hot' threads being discussed, and any important announcements. The newsletter will be sent 5 times a week, Monday through Friday, with Monday's newsletter including information from over the weekend. We would like all Registered Users subscribed to the daily newsletter by default and they can change the option to Receive Daily Email Newsletters via the usercp.

I think we used commbull in vb3 for this but does anything exist for vb5? If not, can you recommend someone who can develop this functionality for us?

There is no newsletter mod made for vB5 at this time. You could put in a paid request, in the Requests for Paid Services forum, and see if anyone wants to try and write one up for you with vB5.
